Is Alpha Nu Omega race, culture or nationality specific??

Unlike other fraternal organizations that are culture specific in nature or inception, Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. does not affiliate with any one specific nationality, culture, or race. Our members come from areas all over the world therefore we are a culturally all-inclusive organization consisting of believers spanning all denominations within the Christian faith.  Jesus Christ is our firm foundation and our commonality lies in our passion for God and our desire to share the Gospel unto all people.

How much time is required as an Alumni member?

Joining Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. is a lifetime commitment and we understand that the specifics of that time commitment will vary and adjust with your life.  Likewise, time commitment in the organization as an Alumni brother/sister will depend on the position held within the chapter. As members, we balance other responsibilities such as family, academic study, work, church, involvement in other groups, service activities, etc.  One of the most important skills a new member learns while enduring the Orientation Process of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. is how to prioritize commitments and optimize time, a consistent testimony of new Eagle Brothers/Dove Sisters.

How do I know if Alpha Nu Omega is right for me and what do I have to do to join?
Seeking membership in any fraternal organization is a very serious undertaking that should not be taken lightly. The best way to make sure that Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. is the right fit is by fostering relationships with current members the chapter.  It is very important that you pray, do your research, carefully watch the Christian character and integrity of the members and how well the Eagle Brothers/Dove Sisters exemplify the purpose of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc.  We organize a few informal interest meetings and events throughout the year where non-members can come to specifically hear and bear witness to the brotherhood/sisterhood, get to know the brothers/sisters, and ask any questions. After deciding if Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. is the right organization, pay attention for the advertisements of our Formal Interest meetings and feel free to approach an Eagle Brother/Dove Sister and ask about the application process. Hazing has been a problem in other Greek-lettered organizations; where does ANΩ stand on hazing?

As a Christian organization, hazing does not align with our principles, is forbidden throughout Alpha Nu Omega, Inc., and is also prohibited by law.  You will not encounter hazing during the Orientation Process.  The Orientation Process is a time when the Eagle Brothers & Dove Sisters of Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. encourage spiritual growth, accountability, and brother/sisterhood, while teaching about our organization's history and traditions - it is not an experience designed to be harmful in any way.  There are many checks and balances to ensure that hazing does not happen.  Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. has a hazing policy that all members are educated on and with which must comply.  Additionally, hazing is a violation of NJ State Law. What if I have a family/kids?

We welcome all men and women whether undergraduate, graduate, alumni, working professional, single, married, with kids, etc to seek membership in Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. Many of our members since obtaining membership have gotten married and/or have had children and still remain active within the organization. Some have even married members and labor the ministry of Alpha Nu Omega together. More specifically, the Alumni Chapter was designed to afford the opportunity of membership to NON-UNDERGRADUATE individuals interested in this ministry and therefore the Alumni Chapter caters to that season of your life. Why do you step?

We step because it is simply one  artistic way of giving God the glory. We  utilize the platform of stepping to preach the Gospel by incorporating scriptures, Gospel songs, catchy phrases, and testimonies. Our goal is not merely to entertain but to minister to, encourage and build up our audience during a performance. View some of our videos here.
